My first answer will always be at home. That’s the place where you make memories everyday and where you will always remember how it felt. This is my favorite way to capture you and your people authentically in the place that feels most comfortable to you.

If you want your session someplace else, I suggest thinking of some of your favorite places or spots that feel special to you. This could include a neighborhood street, a local park, or restaurant.

For extended family sessions, we might require a bit more space. I have loads of suggestions for open space with pretty light.

The most important thing to remember is that you want to feel like YOU and you don’t want your kiddos to be grumpy because they are in uncomfortable clothes.

The only thing I really recommend is staying away from shirts with logos (unless they have meaning) and keeping it simple. Also, try to avoid being too matchy matchy– you want your photos to be timeless rather than a 90’s throw back.

We will decide your session time based on when the light is best in your home or at the location you choose.  If you have little ones, consider somethings that fits their typical schedule. We can work around nap time to make sure everyone is well rested and ready to enjoy the experience. Pretty light happens in both the morning and in the afternoon!

As the person in my family who has had to run back and forth between the tripod, trying to get the perfect holiday shot of 25 faces, I know the value of a good extended family session and I would love to do yours!

During these sessions, I will not only get lots of photos of the whole group but also break it up into any smaller groups you would like- all while keeping it feeling fun, light and candid. Grandparents, cousins, best friends who your kids call Aunt–Let’s get them all in there!

I require a $100 deposit to secure your date. The remainder will be due the week of your session. Everything is done seamlessly online 🙂

I will get you a sneak peek the very next day and you will have the whole session within two weeks! I am just as excited as you are to see the complete collection of images.

I will send you your images on an online gallery perfect for sharing.  It even has a print shop that will show you what your images will look like in the products you might be interested in. I will also include discounts on print products for the first two weeks. And keep an eye out for my promotional sales periodically throughout the year.
