I am a proud parent to Sacha and wife to Bryn. Photographing my community feels so special and personal because of these two right here. It takes a village to raise good kids and love your people big. Therefor, I am eternally grateful for the folks who have held me in every stage of life, especially since coming out. My art is inspired by and made for all of you!

I married my perfect other in 2019

We had a big backyard wedding at my parent’s place! Not only was the day perfect for us in EVERY way, but I couldn’t imagine planning such a big event with anyone else. My wife is also VERY crafty and every step of the way one of us would say “lets just make that.” Having my own wedding just solidified how much I love documenting other people’s big day.

I'm a total farm femme

I feel so lucky to have a bit of space to raise our pig and chickens, grow food, and constantly have a project to work on. I feel so grounded  when tending to our little farm. I dream about having some land one day with a big garden and “a couple” of rescue pigs.

I proposed to my wife in a comic book shop

with a hand drawn comic about all of the terrible ways I could have proposed to her. It was incredibly romantic- so romantic that she responded by asking why I proposed the week before she was scheduled for a hair cut. She also said yes.

I'm Passionate about pasta

One of my favorite weekend rituals is making fresh pasta with my grandma’s old press (it’s even better when the chickens are laying and we get fresh eggs.) I have such fond memories as a child, making big batches with my mom and grandmother, where we would cover all of the counters and even hang strand on clothes hangers in the doorway. This has become something special I get to share with the people in my life, and since I married an Italian girl, we even get to make a pasta course for thanksgiving!

I love to make stuff

I am a self proclaimed DIYer and enjoy changing up our little mid century ranch home. One of my favorite projects to date happened this summer, when we built a cob oven from start to finish so we could take our love for pizza to the next level. I even mixed the clay with my feet, like they did back in the old days. I love having big meals for lots of folks to gather, and this oven created an extra special space for just that!

I LOVE Gardening

I LOVE gardening. I spend as much time as I can creating and tending to my outdoor world. I am a third generation backyard enthusiast and and my grandparents even had a peony farm.

my favorite car is the El Camino

I actually have a thing for ALL coupe utility vehicles really. I have a dream of one day selling flowers out of the back of one and calling my business El Camino Floral. My wife thinks this describes me in a nutshell.

I went to art school in Canada

where I honed in on my craft and politeness. There is just no place like the pacific northwest and a piece of my heart will always be there.
