Studio & Garden

Garage turned Portrait Studio and darkroom

Like so many of us, my garage was full of stuff. I couldn’t believe that nearly 500 sq ft of my space was being used for unnecessary storage. So I embarked on a mission to cull the unnecessary clutter and transform the space into a photography studio with a tiny darkroom and a new point of creative connection for our community. After countless hours cleaning, organizing, and curating, a place I used to avoid has become the peaceful site of a new treasured ritual. With the garage door open and my camera in hand, I look out at the trees and welcome a breath of fresh air. Having my own family close by while capturing the beauty of you and yours fills my heart and fuels my creative process.

A Space for Connection and Creativity

Picture this,

I invite you into my Studio & Garden for a unique portrait experience.  The studio space is versatile, simple, beautifully lit, and thoughtfully curated, with plenty of colors and textures to fit any aesthetic.

During your portrait session, we may step out into my lush cottage garden and take a few portraits surrounded by greenery. Against a simple backdrop, your energy is the focus of the shot, so my goal is to help you feel the most ‘you’ that you can in front of a camera. Here, I prioritize uncomplicated portraits that reflect authentic expression and connection above all else. The flexibility and intimacy of my home photography studio invite us to work together to create images that feel uniquely, authentically you.

I’m here for the frazzled parents who document every milestone but rarely find themselves in front of a camera, for the busy professionals looking for headshots where their personality shines through, for the families whose little ones ensure that photo sessions never go quite as planned, and all the friends and lovers in between. Come as you are, and we’ll create something together that you’ll treasure.

Film Forward

I have found myself desperately searching for that magic I felt when I started my photography adventure.  A tactile experience that can’t be replicated sitting behind a computer screen.

As the studio space continues to grow, I will be incorporating a more film-forward approach-not only my personal work, but for my client work as well.

I want to share the joy of making your images as well as taking them.

From developing the film to creating tangible prints in the darkroom- I deeply want to connect with every part of this process.

Stay tuned for the future filmy-offerings!
