Nate reached out a month or so ago wanting to plan the perfect proposal for his boyfriend Chris. He explained that he was telling him the trip out to Denver from Baton Rouge was for his birthday He also requested that we include something catered towards Chris’s sweet tooth for the main event. Together we came up with the perfect plan- We enlisted the ladies at Sugar Bake Shop to come up with a private pie making class in celebration of Chris’s birthday weekend. Nate was so nervous the whole time and even I said very little not wanting to spoil the secret. Little did Chris know, Nate would pop the question before the pie was even in the oven– Chris reached in to remove the pre finished pie and realized it was inscribed with “will you marry me.” He turned round and Nate was holding a ring down on one knee.
